Midweek outfit – Preppy florals
Pin It Now!

I wore: Floral Shirt c/o www.romwe.com • Bowtie – Fash’n’Treasure • Bag – The Cambridge Satchel Company UK • Pants – General Pants Co. • Nude Pumps – Tony Bianco
Every time I visit China, my relatives tell me funny stories about me as a child. Apparently I was a total tomboy. I hurt myself countless times climbing trees and walls (and falling in wells). My cousin told me that he could never understand why I was always covered in cuts and bruises, when all the other girls my age were clean and proper. I guess even now, my image of myself is not a girly girl. It feels more natural for me to pair a feminine floral blouse with pants and a bow tie and wayfarer glasses then with, for example, a soft skirt and an up-do.
Sale alert! Romwe is having a Buyer’s Pick special offer between 2nd November and 8th November! There will be 30% off items individually picked by Romwe’s fashion team and exclusive Romwe signature items!

Cambridge Satchel review: Lovely, but impractical
Pin It Now!
Possibly one of the most copied bag styles at the moment, I’ve been lusting over an original Cambridge Satchel Company Satchel for I don’t know how long, but I could never decide on a colour or size. When the limited edition pastel satchels were released, I felt the time was right. I chose lemon yellow as I thought it would be the most versatile colour, but I’m honestly wishing I had taken the lilac. In fact, judging by the fact that blue or pink were the first colours to sell out, maybe I should have picked one of those two!
As pretty as this bag is, after using this for a few weeks, I have to unfortunately conclude that this is an impractical bag.

End of Week Outfit: Ombre Blazer and Metallic Sandals
Pin It Now!
I wore: Ombre Blazer c/o www.romwe.com • DiamantĂ© chiffon shirt (similar) – • Pleather biker shorts (similar) –General Pants Co • 13” Cambridge Satchel – The Cambridge Satchel Company • Metallic plated sandals c/o www.romwe.com

Remember when the ombre/dip dye/gradation dye for hair first came on the scene a few years ago? I remember first seeing it on Rumy Neely, and thinking that it was the epitome of nonchalant rock chic cool, and perfect for that much sought after meticulously underdone look. But then I was reminded how closed minded people can be to the new and unconventional. The kind of comments I was hearing: ‘it looks like she’s too cheap to dye her roots’, or ‘looks like someone trying to grow out a bad bleach job’. Then when celebrities started coming out with ombre dye jobs, notably Drew Berrymore and Leighton Meester, it became one of the most widely copied styles. That’s why I have so much respect people who have the vision to recognize an amazing style at the base of the popularity bell curve, rather than the peak.
But back onto the topic of clothes! I’m a total believer in the long life potential of ombre/dip dye trend in every piece of clothing. I was so excited to find this dip dye blazer at Romwe, and I’m on a mission to find the perfect pair of ombre jeans.
