I hear humans once wore animal parts on the body to symbolically (or wishfully) inherit the animal’s attributes and strength. It’s definitely no longer tasteful to wear real tiger’s teeth on a a necklace(wearing a shirt with a lifelike representation of a majestic big cat: totally rad), but animal themes are still a constant in fashion. It must be partly because you just can’t top beauty already existing in nature, but also, when we wear something related to an animal, it’s probably because we admire that animal for its attributes. Personally, I’m a big ol’ crazy cat lady. What about you?
