Friday Review: It’s Skin Mini Tint Gloss

Pin It Now!

After Pink Sakura introduced me to my first It’s Skin product by sending me their Mini Bebe Hand Creme last month, I was delighted to have the chance to try the It’s Skin Mini Tint Gloss. I think the fact that I expressed my desire to try this product in my previous review post, probably gave me away!

What attracted me first to this product was of course, the adorable packaging. The gloss tube is designed to subtly resemble an ice cream cone, and this one is implicitly cherry flavoured! I have to note that while It’s Skin has this great range of super cute products, it’s in fact known as more of a premium skin care brand, with innovative skin care products developed by Dermatologists from Seoul University.

Here’s what the product looks like out of the tube. It gives off this amazing cherry candy scent that reminds me of those little jelly cups I used to eat as a kid. You know, the ones you had to suck out, but this being a skill with which not every kid was gifted!

When spread out, it’s extremely glossy, and has a red tinge.

Applied to lips, It’s Skin Mini Tint Gloss delivers an incredible mirror shine. The red tint gives you that just bitten look. An effect I didn’t expect is that this gloss really makes the lips appear plump and full!

I also love that it feels smooth on the lips and is not too sticky. Stickiness is always a deal breaker for me when it comes to lip glosses.

  • Super shiny without being sticky
  • Feels velvety smooth on lips
  • Tinted so perfect to wear on its own for that just bitten colour
  • Make lips appear plump and full
  • Small size perfect for throwing in your handbag
  • Delicious fruity scent

  • As this is a tinted gloss, it’s better worn on its own rather than over lipstick, as it would redden any lip colour
