Neo Vision Ruby Queen Purple Review – Deep and mysterious

Pin It Now!

Last week I reviewed Neo Vision Ruby Queen Blue, which I had declared as effervescent and doll like. This time, I’m reviewing the Purple lens in the Ruby Queen Series. Unlike Ruby Queen Blue, which is very much cute and innocent in its flavour, Ruby Queen Purple is deep, both in colour and dimension, and has that element of mystery.

I’m advised that Neo Vision Ruby Queen is available exclusively through my circle lens retailer of choice, www.eyecandylens.com!

Brand: NEO
Origin: South Korea
Water content: 45%
Diameter: 14.2 mm
Base Curve: 8.6

Duration: 1 year disposable

The first thing you notice about the Ruby Queen Purple is that the design is multi-faceted and appears to refract light to create a sparkly effect. The colour is a deep rather than bright purple, which, while showing up beautifully even on dark eyes, is subtle enough to not make you look like an anime character. The transparent design creates a beautiful halo effect that really does remind you of a sparkling purple jewel, without looking artificial.

Neo Vision Ruby Queen is a rather small lens, at 14.2mm, but I still think it has a great enlarging effect. Due to the size, this is also a lens that would work well with minimal makeup.

Also check out my review on Neo Vision Ruby Queen Blue. The Ruby Queen series is available here.

  • Beautiful jewel inspired design that, in my opinion, improves on similar designs from other brands
  • Multifaceted and really resembles jewels
  • Deep purple colour that gives a deep and mysterious look
  • Extremely comfortable
  • Small size makes it easy to wear and can be worn with minimal makeup

  • At 14.2 mm, may be too small for some

Disclaimer: I can only review this lens from the point of view of looks and my own experience. Contact lenses and anything else you put in your eyes can be potentially harmful if faulty or not correctly worn. Please use them with care!
